Reach Being Church

As they approach adulthood, youth are wrestling on different levels with the question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” Reach Curriculum’s “Being Church” addresses that question on a broader scale: what has Jesus called the church to be as we grow up, together? As they explore how the earliest Christians wrestled with their identity and purpose as a community and were guided by the Spirit to grow, youth will be invited to consider how the Spirit is at work today through them, shaping what the church will be into the future.

Reach is a faith formation curriculum for youth in grades 9–12, designed to help young people explore the call of Jesus in every aspect of their lives. Each unit consists of six sessions on a biblical or life topic relevant to youth today. A FlexGen session is included in every unit providing youth an opportunity to interact and explore faith together with other generations.
