This study embarks on a panoramic overview of the colorful life of Moses as presented in the Pentateuch. The life of Moses is both tragic and triumphant. It is one of failure and resiliency. It reflects the agony and ecstasy of a remarkable prophet who is revered by many religious people the world over. Along the way, there will be comparisons with the life and teachings of Jesus. Some have said the Gospel of Matthew depicts Jesus as the new Moses. As we explore the adventures of Moses, and note the parallels to Jesus, we will receive insight into our own faith journeys.
