Prayers of Jesus

What prayer practices shaped Jesus’ early life as a child and a young man? This study begins by answering this question and then considers the biblical record of the times Jesus actually prayed. His prayers range from one sentence prayers of blessing over bread to lengthy prayers of intercession to entire nights spent in prayer. As we study Jesus’ prayers, we learn much from his example and ask ourselves: “How is his practice of prayer a model for us?”
