Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, and Esther - known collectively as the Five Scrolls - are five of the most neglected books in the Old Testament, yet contain some of the most relevant wisdom for us today. This study seeks to explore how these five books have shaped Jewish religious life through their use in seasonal festivals, and then provides interpretation from a uniquely Christian perspective. Rediscover the rich legacies of these five books and their Jewish and Christian contexts.
