Stations of the Resurrection |
The video includes narration and images, including the sketches that helped to form the final images, in a 50 minute devotional walk through Jesus' final days on earth.
The Roman Catholic tradition depicts Jesus' walk to the cross, crucifixion and death through 14 "Stations of the Cross." Paul Grout, an artist and ordained minister, seeks to interpret the salvation message through 19 painting-constructions entitled "Stations of the Resurrection." Beginning with Jesus setting His face to go to Jerusalem, the depictions continue from the time Jesus enters Jerusalem through His death, resurrection, and ascension.
